An early modernist, he was associated with several major artistic styles and created works in a wide range of artistic formats, including painting, drawings, book illustrations, stained glass, stage sets, ceramics, tapestries and fine art prints. Whatever their form or purpose, his works radiate with spirit and joyously celebrate life.
The wonderful book with 151 illustrations, including 123 in colors is a tribute to one of the most beloved artists of our century.
Excellent condition. Well preserved without any damage. The beige cloth hardcover is clean and strong, covered with a fine quality dust jacket. No discoloration, no odor, no missing pages. There a tiny handwriting name of the owner ( please see the photo), but it's not the issue.
