I am offering this adorable small antique French display cabinet sourced from a recent estate sale here in southern France.
It is simply made from wood with a tiered top so the ledge that makes could also be used for display.
It is glazed and fastens with a simple metal loop/hook fastening. It can be used wall mounted or freestanding.
It is lined in some pale purple watered silk like fabric, There are lots of holes in this so popular this could have been used as a parish notice or advertising board as it came from a religious home.
Perfect for your favourite Virgin Mary statue or crucifix if you are religious.
It would be easy enough to put shelves in this to then display your favourite smaller treasures.

Condition - Signs of age and use. The wood has warped and shifted over the years with splits to both corners of the cornice. The hinges are rusty with one of the nails pulling through the hinge. Lots of old worm holes. NB I have treated this with worm killer but cannot guarantee this to be worm free. Despite these flaws it remains a usable cabinet.
