Ooo la la! This vintage large Art Nouveau Style Vase is absolutely gorgeous with frosted glass tastefully done in a delicate pastel blush pink. The hue gives the vase a translucent glow that is just divine. The vase feels buttery smooth to the touch with a satin finish. She stands 15 1/2 in tall and opens to about 7in wide by 5in deep. She has curves and she knows how to use them! The curved details really showcase the character of the Art Nouveau movement, which lies in the inspiration of natural imagery. Echoing the shapes and lines of organic forms, Art Nouveau art, architecture and design typically consists of smooth curves, graceful bends and dancing lines. popular Not to be confused with the the later movement of Art Deco (which the two styles often do), the Art Deco movement was based on geometric shapes and hard angles and lines.
