Block was named Grand Master of the Mystery Writers of America and has written over 100 books. He is also well known for his series of Mathew Scudder, PI novels including Eight Million Ways to Die which was made into a movie along with several others.

These 5 hard back books are rare book club first editions complete with book jackets.

These are in great condition for age. Each book has name/dated on the inside front cover, there is some edge wear and 2 of the dust Jackets have a small hole along the spine, and there is a slight forward slant to each book spine. There is no other writing and no torn or folded pages and the bindings are tight.

These were from an estate and part of an individuals personal library. She had attached labels near the bottom of the spine on the dust jackets as pictured.
