Murano Label Vetreria Artistica 8" Sommerso Swan popular Figurine w/ Gold - Vintage Art Glass Bird Sculpture

Offering a graceful Murano art glass swan sculpture made using the sommerso technique, with clear glass over a core of ruby glass with gold aventurine. The ruby glass in certain lights has a purple cast to it.

The bird was all mouth blown, finished with hand tooled, pulled crystal wings, head and beak.

The bird retains the original clear Vetreria Artistica plastic label reading: popular Made in Murano, VE, Italy.
