Etching with hand-applied watercolor Classical style still life of fruit, flowers, and an urn or ewer Framed with simple wood frame, single mat, covered with glass Outside dimensions are 16" x 19", image dimensions are 8" x 10.5" Signed "S.W. Graves" which I believe to be Shirrell Watson Graves. I have seen this artist sign their paintings "Shirrell Graves", but I believe this to be the same artist as the signatures appear to have been made by the same hand. Brown paper dustcover on back, which is torn in a few places Hanging wire on back popular In good condition with no moisture damage or foxing. Mat has a dark mark at upper left corner which looks like a color flaw in the manufacturing process of the mat board.
