This beautiful Handmade Decorative Flower Shop Birdhouse is made from clean recycled log cabin solid pine wood. Each piece has been hand cut and sanded, while still maintaining an authentic appeal. Since they are handmade, all of my garden pieces have their own unique size, appearance, and identity.
The darker wood areas have been thoroughly stained medium oak in color with high quality exterior stain. All decorative areas have been painted twice with high quality decorative paints. The entire birdhouse has been coated twice with high quality exterior water base satin finish urethane for added beauty and protection against the outdoor elements. *For longevity purposes, placing in direct sunlight is not recommended.
The birdhouse measures approximately (11”H x 9.5”W x 10”L) @ (4.6 lbs) with the bird entrance hole measuring at approximately 1.5" across. This decorative birdhouse can be hung or stand alone; thereby, providing birds with a lovely home or hideaway. Or it can simply be used as outdoor decor by adding it to your patio, porch, or deck area.
Our birdhouses do not come with hanging mechanisms or posts because every customer's desired look, style, and hanging length are all different. Hundreds of varieties can easily be found online according to your own taste. Many customers prefer for them to simply stand alone.
Now that I have retired, many days into weeks are put into completing these unique birdhouses and garden decor; from the cutting and carving of wood, to placing on the final touch. Therefore, it's more about the love of my craft versus receiving reimbursement for my popular labor. My hope is, you too, will come to love them as much as my family and friends have over the years.
