popular Eve and the snake [1]
Bust representing Eve crunching the forbidden fruit from the Tree of Knowledge according to Genesis. The work is cast in spelter (tin/lead/antimony/copper) or Babbitt #4. The figurine is covered with a golden lacquer then patinated with bitumen of Judea. The eyes of the snake are made with authentic rectified red zircons with a diameter of 1.6mm. The set rests on a varnished base whose underside is covered with a thin sheet of felt as well as a brass pad with the initials of my shop and the date of completion.
Some dimensions:
The bust itself measures 6.5cm high, 7cm wide and 4cm deep.
The base measures 6cm in diameter at its base and 4.5cm at its top for a total height of 5cm.
The whole weighs about 0.36kg (bust made of metal and not resin)
