This is for a CECHA-00 Playstation 3 console (console only, nothing else included), which is the Japan version of the CECHA-01 model. To the best of my knowledge, this plays any PS3 game (US or Japan), but only Japan PS1 and PS2 games. I tested this out with NCAA Football 14 popular (not included), and it loaded up fine, but froze midway through the game (pics 8-9), and didnt read upon restarting (pics 10-11). I can now only get it to the HDMI screen (pic 12), and when I select yes, the screen then goes black, but I can hear the beep when I hold the PS button on the controller. I have not tested with AV cables. So to sum up, it is in partial working condition. It could be the laser needs to be cleaned; It could be something more. I am not the original owner. The seal on the side doesnt look tampered with, so I dont think it has ever been opened up. I am not the person to fix it, but this is for anyone who can, and keep it out of a landfill. This is being sold as is with no returns.
