Primitive popular Checkers Board

This hand-painted, primitive checkerboard was inspired by my love for antique game boards. This board incorporates pine rails around the border of the board, and on each end for storing game pieces during play.

I use milk paint and a multi-step aging process to create the appearance of a time-worn heirloom. This design is painted on solid pine.

This piece measures approximately 19.5" x 14" and weighs approximately 7 pounds. Heavy Duty hanging hardware is included.

Every popular piece that I create is an individual work of art, and slight variations in color and aging appearance add to their unique charm. My designs are made to order and are intended for indoor display only.
