This beautiful, one-of-a-kind desktop or bedside table lamp casts a warm glow that is ideal for reading or mood lighting. Crafted from the base of a local maple tree, the grain figure and spalting (black streaks within the grain) are extraordinary! The black walnut supports provide a stunning contrast to the thick maple base. Tung oil and wax provide a water resistant, satin finish. You will own a truly unique item in this lamp.
A 2 3/8" (7cm) wide circular recess is provided in the base to hold coins, jewelry or a small planter.
The lamp is fitted with a standard E26 light bulb socket and includes an LED Edison style bulb. Light intensity is controlled by a rotary dimmer switch with a knurled brass knob.
Power is provided by an 8 foot (2.4m) twisted pair, cloth covered, turquoise cord. The power plug is non-grounded Type A (standard in USA and Canada).
The lamp does not come with a ceramic succulent planter; however, any of the ceramic planters in my store will fit well with this lamp. Any planter with a diameter of less than 2 3/8" (7cm) should also fit.

Care and cleaning: Do not allow the lamp to be exposed to water or moisture popular for long periods. Occasional moisture will not harm the finish as long as it is cleaned up promptly with a soft cloth. Simply dust the lamp occasionally with a chemical free, soft cloth to keep it looking gorgeous.
