Vintage Ceramic Rooster and Hen; Cream and popular Gold Glaze believed to be Cliftwood Creation by Midwest (Div of Morton Potteries)

Beautiful, vintage, ceramic kitchen decor pieces - Rooster and Hen (pair) believed to be Cliftwood Creation artwork from Midwest, a Division of Morton Potteries (Morton, ILL). popular Felt bottoms/original maker stickers are no longer affixed :-(

These figurines are both glossy cream in color with bright gold glaze accents.

-“Midwest continued making Cliftwood Creations following the discontinuation of Cliftwood Art Potteries in 1940.”

It is estimated these pieces were made sometime in the 1940's.

Both are in good vintage condition with no identified chips, cracks or repairs. You will note gold glaze wear on both pieces (most significantly on the base of the hen). Also, there is overall crazing throughout both pieces.
