From the early 20th century, this stunning Victorian home water font measures almost 35 cm (13.6") in length and the cross sits on a gilded wooden cross base with an upper red velveted cover. The four cross tip holds are elaborately stamped gold copper, the corpus christi is gold tone and there is a well sized sculpted font at the base. The INRI banner sits above Christs' head.

Beautifully made using quality materials this is a stunning Catholic relic from early century France.

CONDITION
Very good vintage condition. The red velvet is now virtually completely worn off and the christ statue has some faded areas to the shine - overall faint signs of natural ageing.
