This is a such a gorgeous genuine Victorian necklace that has wonderful etchings one each of the hidden slide in clasps. The etchings are really pretty. This is original and it is made of gilt brass. The shortest strand on the metal choker is 15 1/4”long and the width of its clasp is almost 3/4”. Necklace hangs so well and is very popular well made. The brass has turned a wonderful shade of patina and usual wear expected with age is present. This is a true period piece and not reproduction.
