Handmade ceramic figurine Ancient Chinese style
Made from clay and fired in ceramic kiln. Hand painted popular with professional low temperature firing acrylic colors for ceramic. Some parts are left with no pigment, showing natural clay surface.
Image inspired by Chinese traditional ceramic figurines and painting, though final design is my own. Depicting a lady in old style hanfu 汉服（漢服） clothing.
The costume colouring is in itself a small original painting, done directly on the figurine surface, without a previous sketch, and designed on the spot to suit exactly this item. All together with the clay forming, it's unique and there won't be any same work.
