Red Onion, fine art photography, archival print, botanical, fruit, onion, home decor, kitchen decor, scanned image, popular giclée
These prints are by artist Gene Gort from an ongoing 20 year project entitled “nocamera”. The images here are from the “Sliced / Rebuilt” series. All images here have been produced by placing objects on or above a flatbed scanner. No camera has been used in the process, hence the name.
NOTE: These prints have a rich, matte surface and resemble photo lithographs more than glossy photographs.
Prints are available in two sizes, 11x14 or 8x10, with either a black or white background and are popular unframed. Each print has a half-inch white border and print sizes are the dimensions of the actual paper.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
All prints are produced with an Epson 9600 inkjet printer with UltraChrome Inkset and are printed and signed when ordered. They are printed on Hanemühle Photo Rag paper, 308 gram weight. UltraChrome archival inks are rated for approximately 100 years under optimum conditions behind glass in stable environments. The prints are durable but susceptible to water damage if not protected and must not be exposed to direct sunlight.
