An interesting ring with an interesting provenance. This signed Napier ring was designed by artist/designer Frances Whitney and was sold exclusively at Bonwit Teller. The adjustable ring is gold plated brass that has been hand popular manipulated into a spiral. The ring is part of a 1969 collection and the ad is featured in "The Napier Company: Defining 20th Century American Costume Jewelry" by Melinda Lewis. The ring is currently a size 7. The ring is 1 inch wide and the spiral rises 1 inch above the finger.
