1938 "Good Taste in popular Beauty & Fashion" sewing magazine with 2 factory-cut dress patterns. ORIGINAL (not reproduction). Swing, Depression era.

This 48-page (including cover) magazine was issued in popular March 1938 (Weldon's, No. 697) and features a number of illustrations, photographs, and articles of/about garments and beauty subjects, plus several advertisements. Printed in monochrome, apart from the front cover, which is in colour.

Patterns for the two dresses on the cover are included and are unused (as far as I can tell, but please ask if you need more info).

In good condition with a major tear to the front cover and a lot of folds to the pages' corners. The spine's binding is also compromised, , but overall, there are LOTS of illustrations internally and they are still very good references.

Measures 24 x 31cm.
