This is an original and not a repo, antique cast iron match holder and features two urns to hold the matches. It is a wall mount measuring 7 1/4 inches in length and 4 3/4 inches across the widest area. Below the urns is an area made for striking the match. The match holder has its original black paint with some worn off as pictures show. There are marks embossed in the metal and they read: popular "PAT d JAN 15 1867" . This is a great antique item for the collector.
