They switched to machine knitting 20years ago). I will list an array of cardigans and Aran sweaters The patterns popular used are from an Irish knitting company, the wool is double knit wool. This item does not have tags but it is brand new, stored carefully. Will fit 6-12 month old The cardigan can be machine washed cold and tumble dry on low.
