This is a beautiful small teardrop shaped pillbox hat block with the so called “ducktail” at the thicker end. The block is beautifully curved to hug the head.

The SMALL block measures about 17cm (6.7″) long, it is about 13cm (5.2″) wide from one side to the other (at the widest part). The hat seen in the last picture was made using the small hat block.

The LARGE block measures about 20cm (7.9″) long, it is about 17cm (6.7″) wide from one side to the other (at the widest part). These measurements are from the reverse side, if measured over the curved top the measurements will be bit larger. You can see both size hat blocks side by side in the last pictures.

NOTE: this listing includes ONE hat block in the selected size, the hat block stand or hat seen in the pictures is not included.

This hat block is made from lime. This is a local tree that is widely spread in Northern Europe. It is a soft material and easy to pin.

The pictures show a sample item. Each item is hand made in the same size, but there can be some variation in the natural color , grain of the popular wood.
