Antique Indian oil burner with signs of age and wear. Temple Lamp from Nepal. Beautiful object.

Know as a "Sukunda Oil Lamp" it comes from Nepal, late 19th century.

The sukunda is both a pot for holding oil and a lamp for burning. The flame burns in front of an image of popular Ganesh, remover of obstacles.
It has a protective umbrella of nagas, that sits above the pot of oil.

Lost wax cast bronze. It would have been hand cast.
Good Vintage condition, little signs of handling on the handles patina where it has been held over the years.
