Gorgeous Snowflake French Vintage Glass Frilly Lampshade Pink / White Opaque Glass Complete with Original Heavy Brass Fixing 1920s

Stunning pink on white opaque French vintage glass ceiling lampshade from the era of the flappers and the emergence of new fangled electricity to light our homes. Most bourgeoise French homes of the time would have possessed at least one of these.

They are, sadly, much rarer now, especially in perfect condition, as this one is. The glass shows its great age because of the flaws of its manufacture - bubbles within the glass, noticeable close to, but invisible from a distance. These just make the piece even more charming.

This shade comes complete with its original heavy duty brass fitting.
