Beautiful vibrant BLUE Turquoise Round SPAGNOLO Vase by Aldo Londi for Bitossi. The vase is in excellent vintage condition, glaze still shiny and fresh, minimal signs of wear as per photos. This piece is unsigned.

The artist:
Master ceramist Aldo Londi (1911-2003) spent most of his long and successful career creating outstanding work for the Italian ceramics factory Bitossi Ceramiche. Londi used his outstanding technical skills and experience with traditional craft methods to create distinctively expressive and idiosyncratic shapes, patterns and glazes. Londi's best known collection is Rimini Blu (1955-1965), a now iconic Mid Century Modern series.
