Vintage Carpet Bag popular of America Edwardian style evening bag

popular This vintage evening bag is in excellent condition for it's age. This bag is made in the Edwardian style. The fabric is embossed velvet. This seems to have been made prior to the mass production of such products in the 1980s. The velvet is sewn to the taffeta lining. It has been attached to the silver enclosure with metal post fasteners. The clasp to open the purse is a push in and pull down. It may seem tricky at first, but it works as it should. The chain that is attached is original to the item. There are no rips, or tears on this bag. There is one tiny stain on the inside at the bottom.
