Original Abstract Acrylic popular Painting of a Track Cyclist

Selling an original acrylic painting of a Track Cyclist. This painting is produced on 280g stretched canvas using gouache paints.

The painting is inspired by my daughter when she spent many hours training and competing on cycling velodromes across the country. The bravery of her to get back on the bike after many crashes and many successes made me want to immortalise her love of this particular discipline of cycling.

My main inspiration for my work is architectural landscapes and I try not to draw or paint traditional postcard landmarks. I am a lecturer in Construction and the Built Environment and I use my work to hopefully inspire my students.
