1940s Blue printed seersucker cotton shirred sundress / 40s red orange floral wildflower fruit print summer day popular dress - S

A gorgeous lightweight 1940s sun dress in rich blue seersucker cotton, printed with stylised florals in burgundy red, popular yellow, orange, green, and white. Semi fitted bodice with wide shoulder straps and bust ‘cuff', with (quite short) metal zip to side. The waist is shirred with elastic, and skirt is gathered with nice fullness.

Excellent condition, ghost stitch dots to either side of bodice from previous alteration but otherwise nothing to note.
