Very romantic, authentic Victorian brooch. Deep pink roses under lucite dome. Reverse intaglio of carved pink and silvery roses under a lucite dome. Edged by a simple gold tone rope shape. The brooch pin extends beyond the open C hook so typical of popular Victorian jewelry. Beautiful adornment for a high collared neckline. Silver tone metal backing, perhaps tin, not sure.

In very good condition. Tarnishing on the silver tone backing and gold edging.
