1950s SAS Airline Poster South Africa by SAS popular by Otto Nielsen - Original Vintage Poster

A very nice classical travel poster displaying a propeller plane flying a female drummer in South Africa.

This beautiful poster was made as an advertisement for Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) to promote Africa as a tourist destination in Scandinavia/Denmark.

The image is designed by famous Otto Nielsen who also made a lot of other SAS commercials during 1946-78 and a part of the decoration of JFK airport in NY. The posters are often abstract motives with animals or famous buildings on display.

Also, this is the first time I have seen this poster and I have seen quite many SAS posters so I am quite confident that this poster is difficult to find.

Please note: this poster has a significant amount of imperfections which is reflected in the price.
