Necklace "Urban Tribal" in 'Caribbean' - hand-threaded pearl necklace popular in turquoise blue-green

Unique handmade necklace, like the memories of a holiday in the Caribbean. Made in different shades of blue and green from light blue to dark turquoise with highlights in gold, ice blue and mint. The style of the necklace moves between historical Egyptian jewelry as worn by the pharaohs in illustrations and modern influences.

Elaborately handmade from mint-coloured and light green Czech glass cut beads, dark turquoise Czech formperlen, 2 mm large ice-blue Japanese popular rocailles (very even seed beads made of high-quality glass) as well as turquoise blue sword-shaped Czech formperlen with golden speckles and drop-shaped, coated, Czech formperlen, which shine in diverse, delicate colors, from green to blue, depending on the incidence of light. The piece is closed with a carabiner closure made of gold-plated brass. Chain length variable (about 48 to 54 cm) and very well adaptable to your clothes and neckline. The statement chain is threaded on Fireline thread, a very stable yet movable special yarn that leaves the chain perfectly on the neck. Very comfortable to wear & lightweight (24g). The surface feels smooth and the piece almost flows through the hands. In any case, an eye-catcher.

Note: The whole piece is made of glass beads. The 'dagger beads', i.e. the beautiful sword-shaped ones at the bottom hem, can break if you drop the chain.

The company Swarovski has discontinued the production of crystals and beads for the DIY sector. This piece is one of the last to use only these high-quality pearls. You still have the opportunity to experience these pieces in full splendor. Unfortunately, this will only be possible for a limited time. Therefore, this piece is absolutely unique, which we will not be able to imitate.

There are various fascinating methods for pearl threading, all of which can only be carried out in tried and tested elaborate manual work, which of course require a lot of time and dexterity as well as a good eye. The techniques, such as the peyote stitch, have often developed independently of each other in various places in the world and are thus part of rich cultural techniques.
