Vintage 1940s Rug, Olive Green Cotton Loop Tufted Area Rug / Runner with Subtle Grid popular Pattern, 61 x 25 Inches

Stellar 1940s tufted cotton runner in nice, but well-worn vintage condition. Heavy signs of wear and age, some stray tufts particularly around the edges and a bit of fading. There is a faint attic smell, but it isn't overwhelming. You can really only smell it if you smash your face into the rug. This came from great farmhouse haul, most things dating from the 1930s and '40s, so I'm assuming this is roughly the same age.

No tags or labels present. Soft, plushy olive cotton loop tufts with a subtle grid pattern. Color is best represented in the first few photos of the rug pictured with the piano bench. Runner measures approximately 61 inches long and 25 inches wide. popular
