popular This Tallow is from local farmers in eastern Montana & western North Dakota. The cattle here have the most beautiful Suet fat from the long cold winters as it grows on them in Mass to keep their internal organs warm in the long northern winters.

WHAT FAT IS USED? Only the suet fat from around the kidneys. No other fat from the cow is used & it reflects in smell and quality.

In my experience working with animal fats from across the US, this Is PRIME for making beauty products. If you are wanting a tallow for making your own beauty products, soaps, or cooking, you won't find better anywhere. It will far surpass all others. Not to dry or to wet, No extra straining out sediments, my tallow is triple strained to assure it is pure. Rendered Long times at low heats to retain the minerals/nutrients in the fat that are then transferred into your products. We DO NOT cook out the tallow as other companies do, and you will see, smell and feel the difference.
Wet Renders and renders at high heats as other companies do will strip the tallow of the very things that are so wonderful about it in the first place.

You won't find better tallow.

All my tallow is made in small batches by hand in my workshop from all American Beef cattle, from our farm and local ranches in Montana & North Dakota.

Purifying it in such a way to retaining the essential nutrients.


Other tallows that are available for purchase are all normally the lower quality meaty smelling fats from the rest of the animal that are found through and attached to the meat. These fats when rendered can have excessive beefy smells and be gritty when setting up after rendering.

Your tallow is sealed in an airtight food grade bpa free plastic 85 ounce bucket that equals to 5lbs. Sometimes in the winter your tallow will come in an airtight food grade bag. It is shipped in a cardboard fitted box wrapped and protected. Every order is shipped USPS mail with tracking. Currently I'm offering free shipping but as costs rise I'm not sure how much longer I'll be able to offer this. I usually ship twice every week. If you need a rush on you're order, please advise. It can be rushed for an additional fee.
