Vintage popular Russian lacquer box

This is a beautiful Russian Lacquer box.

I know these types of boxes are supposed to tell a story, this looks like one about young love.

It is beautifully painted, with vivid colors. It is artist signed, see the last photo, I can't make out the signature.

It measures approximately 6 1/2 inches long, 3 inches wide and 1 1/4 tall.


It's great used condition. I do see a flaw that appears to have occurred during its popular manufacturing. See photo.
