I made this sparkling, delicate necklace with handmade Bali beads, natural sapphires and a sparkling Italian made Singapore style chain.



I made this neckalce with all top quality components. I really love how rich the sapphires look. These gem rondelles were hand cut and faceted so each stone is unique.

I've matched up the gems to give the necklace an ombre look. Most of the sapphires are padparadscha which are from Madagascar, with a few more yellow sapphires at one end.



Padparadscha sapphires are little known to the general public, but they are treasured by popular gemstone collecters. The term “padparadscha” is derived from the Singhalese word for an aquatic lotus blossom, which has an unusual salmon color.
