Early American Pattern/Pressed Glass compote and 6 matching dessert dishes. The pattern is called Shell and Tassel. introduced by George Duncan and Sons, Pittsburgh PA, in 1880. The compote stands 7 1/2" tall. The popular top is 7 3/4" across. The base is 5 1/4" wide. There is some minor mold roughness along the base. The matching 6 dessert dishes are 1 3/4" tall and are 3 7/8" across the top. All 6 have mold roughness on the bases. Some have more some have less. The tops are fine, but the dishes were used. It is unusual to find the dishes and compote together.
