Product code: CULVER Highball Glasses popular of Set of 7 Signed, 1950s
From CULVER, a glassware company founded in 1939 in Brooklyn, this set of seven highball glasses depict a Currier and Ives style scene. A horse drawn sleigh is traveling through the woods where a warm cabin awaits. The snowflakes blanket the sky and evergreen trees as popular the journey continues. The printing is raised and the colors deep.
Each glass is signed as shown. They hold 12 ounces, stand 5 5/8” tall and have a weighted bottom.
Found in a gift box, they appear not to have been used. An intricate pattern that would be difficult and costly to replicate today. This is what makes midcentury Culver so highly collectible!
