Four Clear Glass Vintage Espresso Cups popular with Saucers from the 1960s by Modernist Designer Joe Columbo. Joe Colombo (1930-1971) was a fabulous designer. A progressive post-modern and futurist designer from Milan, Italy. The design of this glassware was called Arno, for Italora and was produced by Fidenza Vetraria Glass Factory in the 1960's. The cups are stackable. On the bottom of the cup is marked Italy and embossed with a star. The cups are 2 1/2" diameter bowl and 2" tall. The plates are 8 inches across. The glass is clear with no chips, scratches, or cloudiness. One plate has two small issues - see photos for more information.
