This sweet throw is filled with lovely little birds, flowers, and pears. Since it is made out of flannel, and it is a throw size, it is great during the Autumn, Winter, and Spring seasons. You can throw them on your sofa, a chair, or on your bed. The flannel on this collection is the oh so cozy Woolies, by Maywood Studio and designed by Bonnie Sullivan The color palette of this collection are lilac, red, gold, cream and green. This quilt is sure to bring some cheer into your home, with all the lovely, warm colors.

TOP TIP: You can see by the pictures of that there are a lot of half-square-triangles (HST) in this quilt. Also, sewing a quilt out of flannel can be challenging, not only because of the bulk of the fabric, but with the HST, the fabric is on the bias. I like to use the HST papers, or triangles on a roll. There are several manufacturers out there. One is It's Sew Emma. These papers help you to make the HST much more efficiently. Best of all the papers stabilize the flannel so that it doesn't stretch so easily. Having accurate squares will make your quilt easier to put together.
