Hello!
I have hard and interesting work to creat my suzanis. I want to share it with you. I started from imagination. What can inspires me? Everything. Colourful Uzbekistan Nature, old fabrics, peoples, everything! I draw on paper how it could be looks like. Then I plan colour scheme. Choosing fabrics for base of embroidery takes a lot of time. I like vintage or hand woven materials, they must be natural and high quality. All my items are washable. I cut size of my future suzani and start to draw on it. White ink for black base, black ink for white base. Process of drawing takes two weeks usually. I have no templates, all patternes are drawn by hands. I usually colour threads for embroidery by myself. The colours are not run popular or fade. When foundation with pattern is ready we start to embroider it together. As I wrote in my shop info this is our family business.

This is very special 41x33 in /109x83 cm. hand crafted contemporary Suzani from Tashkent Uzbekistan.
I embroidered it with natural silk threads on handmade natural cotton base of the black color.
Lining is natural cotton of the black color.
Very beautiful Ottoman design.
It'll be very beautiful wall hanging, upholstery or furniture through.
