Misgav ledach, Jerusalem old-city street. Judaica popular art digital print reproduced from original oil painting.
“Misgav Ledach” is a picturesque path in the old city of Jerusalem. The street is named after the community health aid organization (and eventually the hospital) of the same name, which means “shelter for the sufferer” (Psalms 9, 10) which began operation in the 19th century.
Despite being a central street in the old city, it has a special calm to it, and it is a rare opportunity to enjoy silence in the middle of the holiest of places. The special lighting effects created by the sunlight drew me to create this painting.
Original painting size is (50cm x 40cm), oil on canvas.
