RARE! Beautiful Antique pub. 1901 'The Works of Tennyson' Leather Bound Book Set - Aldworth Edition

This lovely antique set of books is 120 years old!! An elegant set for any collection.

Each book has two beautiful illustrations popular at the front. All have gold lettering, gold edged pages and ribbon markers.

Volume II - English Idylls and Other Poems, Ballads and Other Poems (263 pages) - (Front cover and first page are completely removed from book)
Volume III - Locksley Hall and Other Poems, Reprinted Poems (239 pages)
Volume IV - Lucretius and Other Poems, Sonnets, Translations, etc. (231 pages) (Leather peeling away from cover on front, some pencil scribbling on inside page)
Volume V - Idylls of the King Part One (227 pages) (Leather peeling away from binding on spine)
Volume VII - The Princess, The Cup, The Falcon (260 pages) (The leather of the front cover is peeling away, and it looks like some singe marks along the edge.)

Each book measures approx. 4 x 6 in.

As you can see, they look like antiques. As you can see in the photos, they are quite delicate and worn, as you would expect from their age. The inner pages are in beautiful condition though, no visible water damage and easy to read.

The previous owner did write on the inside front page of each. (Her name and address)
