The painting is by listed midcentury Spanish artist, Gay Candelis, who has numerous auction records. I love the darkness of the buildings, contrasted with the bright reflection of the street and the thick, evocative brushstrokes. Painting is signed at lower right. There also appears to be the remains of an old exhibition tag attached to the wire on back. Painting is stretched, but unframed. Condition: The painting is in excellent condition.
