A wonderful authentic vintage blue French chore coat or work wear jacket! ~ These textiles are such great finds! ~*~ This jacket dates to the 1970s-1980s and is a dense heavy Prussian blue dyed cotton with a twill weave. ~*~ This jacket has light wear, and some staining, but is sturdy with many years left to give. Since it already has stains, it may be best for an artist or worker's jacket. These coats were used throughout the French countryside and can still be seen today. 28 inches long
18.5 inch sleeves from the pit to the cuff
18 inch shoulder ( measured straight across the back seam to seam )
21.5 inches across the chest, laid flat from one underarm to the other
CONDITION: This wonderful jacket is in as found, not laundered condition and can be machine washed and dried at home! Light wear and some stains on the center front and at the top of the breast that may or may not wash fully. Please see above and photographs!
