Mid Century Italian Plate with Tango Dancers and Man in Stovepipe popular Hat

Quite a charming piece!

Mid Century Italian ceramic plate with a kind of splatter glaze overall in a soft sage green. On it is painted a couple dancing the Tango while a dapper gentleman in a tux with tails, bow tie and stovepipe hat and cane looks on. Loosely painted with purplish broad fluid brushstrokes.

Quite a lively scene!

And it is SIGNED! Absolutely the most indecipherable signature ever....

The plate measures 8 3/8" or 21.3 cm in diameter and 3/4" or 2 cm in height.
Well marked on the bottom: ITALY W.C. &. G 2422
There is a small surface/glaze anomaly to the left of the dancers and another on the rim bottom right.
