When interest in carnival glass started to drop off in the late teens, Fenton came up with a new and different iridescent glassware. Stretch glass in brighter colors started appearing in Fenton's line about 1917 popular, but rose stretch, called Velva Rose, didn't go on the market till 1926. This 11"(W) by 4.5"(H) melon ribbed bowl will be a star attraction in any Fenton, Art Glassware, or Stretch Glass collection. Fenton Art Glass made many types of Glassware in the United States over the years and was known for being very careful with their quality control.
