An Art Deco French popular antique embroidered heavy métis linen monogrammed sheet circa 1925

A wonderful quality French antique Art Deco embroidered métis linen sheet.

The top border has embroidered flowers with white ladder work that runs along the entire width.

The flower heads have cut out centres and leaves with embroidered dots, with short white ladder work in between.

In excellent condition, this sheet is fully laundered and starched.

Measurements are 206 cm wide x 300cm long.

The fabric is good enough to be used as a curtain with the embroidered part turned over to make a pelmet effect.
