Alcock, Lindley and Bloore popular Ltd. “Brown Betty” Teapot

The bottom mark makes this teapot's manufacture between c1965-71. This globe shaped, Samian-like teapot is banded with peach and cream colours. As typical of these pots the lid does not lock.
There appears to be no cracks or chips but does have crazing in the peach band. Of course there are some manufacturing anomalies to be expected in this type of pottery. It measures approximately 13cm high x 23cm wide spout to handle which holds approximately 1l(32oz).

*****Mr. Squirrel being 4cm(1.5 inches) tall insists on being in every picture to give a true sense of size to the items.

Variations in colour, texture and finish are all part of the charm. The reasons for such diversity may be due to the differences in electronic devices, lighting, age, use, etc.

****We use Canada Post's most economical rates which will include tracking and insurance for loss. *CANADA POST DOES NOT INSURE FRAGILE ITEMS* We will not be held liable for the mishandling of our very carefully packaged items once they leave our gentle hands. If you wish to upgrade to include insurance against breakage you must contact us before purchase and we will get a quote from another carrier so you can decide what you wish to do.

*****We acknowledge that “Canada” postage might first appear expensive but given the time and fuel saved by you dear friends trying to find the perfect unique items found here at “Squirrelled No More” definitely compensates the cost. Should
there be more than $10 less difference in postage it will be refunded, should the cost of postage be over $10 more than charged then we will expect to be reimbursed the extra before shipping.
