This listing is for a large alder tree slice. This beautiful slice has been completely dried and sanded smooth on both sides and still has the lovely bark around the edges. The slice is naturally dried, no chemicals were used.
This wonderful piece is great for rustic wedding decor, country wedding décor, cake stands, home decor, crafts and DIY supply, etc.
The diameter is approx 51-53cm (approx.20"-21"). The slice is approx. 4.5-4.8 cm (approx.1.7"-1.9") thick.

THESE SLICES MAY BE SENT TO CANADA ONLY IF VARNISHED as it is forbidden to send unfinished wood to this country. So, please, choose the appropriate option.
If you choose a "varnished" option, you will get a slice covered with transparent, smell free, food safe varnish which will make the slice more durable and protect it from moisture and durt. You will be able to wipe the slice easily with a wet rag while using it.
