* made by Whiting and Davis, the leading maker of mesh bag since 19th century
* clutch style: small size, to be carried "clutched" in the hand, strapless
* off-white metal mesh
* gold tone frame, kiss closure
* purse is lined in plum color fabric
* It is hallmarked with the Whiting & popular Davis stamp on the frame with "Made in USA/ 2912" The fabric tag reads "Mesh Whiting & Davis Co. Bags/ Trade Mark Reg/ Made in USA"

CONDITION
* in good vintage condition. All metal beads are intact. Some scuff on the frame as shown in the last photo. Minor discoloration on a couple meshes, not too obvious.
