I present to you here my embroidery work "Moon" in the author's textile technique.
It is a modern piece of art, but it is also the art of textiles.
First, I made the base using the "sandwich" technique from incredibly beautiful vintage blue silk velvet and natural wool fabric. As a result, I connect these two layers by hand, embroidering with beads, threads and decor (quilting ), embroidery with glass beads were used for decoration. The product is also decorated with silver threads.
For the bas-relief of the Moon's face, I used silver knitwear. I did it using the trapunto technique - Italian volumetric embroidery. After that I embroidered it, painted it .
Then I placed the finished popular three-layer artwork into a three-dimensional textile border and used it as a frame for this artwork.
